HRD Directorate of Sri Lanka Customs executes training programmes, to the employees to achieve the departmental objectives to enhance and strengthen their performance through conceiving of new creative innovative approaches and planned activities. Training needs analysis done in accordance with proposed training policy. The programmes, contents and presentations of training are designed to train professionals who have the skills and talent to serve effectively, and to win the new challenges of the Customs Department.
The HRD Directorate fosters concrete, tangible further forums of cooperation and collaboration with other local bodies as well as with WCO and other Foreign Customs Administrations to achieve the goal.
